PlainText 1.2 beta
PlainText 1.2 changes include:
- Added word count (iOS 3.2 and greater). Word count is reported as part of the text editing popup menu (Cut, Copy, Paste, etc). If works on entire document if there is no selection, or on selected region if there is a selection.
- Fixed date conflict sync bug that would result in empty documents (or changes not synced) to Dropbox sporadically.
- Fixed background sync bug that could cause (on iOS 4.x) application to launch with black or white blank screen.
- Possible fix for periodic sync crash that happens for some people right after completing a sync. If you’ve experienced this problem please try this beta and let me know if the problem is fixed for you or not.
I don’t have any open beta slots, but if you have an iPhone developers certificate you can self sign the beta and then run it that way. Here are some self signing instructions.
