Get an ad-free PlainText for NaNoWriMo: Price lowered to $0.99!

I’m dropping PlainText’s ‘Remove Ads’ in app purchase to $0.99 for the rest of November 2010 to celebrate NaNoWriMo.

Also, I’ve you’ve been under a rock and missed it, Scrivener 2.0 is now out and syncs with PlainText. It’s a great app with a free trial period, give it a try.

And one more thing… word count!

PlainText 1.2 is currently making its way through the App Store approval process. One big new feature is a word count that stays out of your way until you need it. To bring it up, just tap on your document to bring up the familiar iOS select/paste/copy/etc floating toolbar. We’ve added live word count to that! Tap to get full word, paragraph and character counts.
