PlainText 1.2 with word count now in App Store

PlainText 1.2 adds word count which is accessed through the standard text editing actions popup (Cut, Copy, Paste, Select All…). Tap the word count button to also get character and paragraph count.

• Fixed periodic crash after sync.
• Fixed ‘sort by modified’ animations.
• Fixed blank startup screen after background sync.
• Fixed unrecognized file types no longer become editabled.
• Removed ‘sort by created’ because iOS doesn’t track creation dates.

If you like the work on PlainText please give it a quick review in the App Store. Version 1.3 is already in progress and I expect it to include an improved scroller and optional link detection among other things.
